【摘要】:Incertainapplications,theash,color,conductivity,orpHofthefinishedactivatedcarbonproductmaybeinfluencedbythequantityofwatersolublesitcontains.Thiswatersolublestestprovidesarelativeindicationofthequantityofsolublematerialsthatmaybeextractedfromvariousactivatedcarbons.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofthewatersolublecontentof(unused)granularandpowderedactivatedcarbons.Watersolublesarematerialsthatcanbeextractedbydistilledwaterunderrefluxconditionsandareexpressedasapercentageofdrycarbonweight.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
